Brady Smith attributes his 90% referral-based business on his professionalism, knowledge of the greater Nashville area, and accessibility. Clients find Brady's natural ability to relate to them and understand their wants and needs second to none.
With Brady's adept ability to make a positive influence on those around him, it's no surprise that his driving force in providing exceptional service stemmed from a negative experience with a real estate agent when he was buying his first home. It has proved useful as he has developed quite an extraordinary reputation AND relationship not only with his clients, but also among fellow Realtors. That reputation has offered his clients opportunities that might not have otherwise been available to them - opportunities such as finding a home that's not yet on the market, negotiating contracts, and preventing or controlling contract defaults.
Since first becoming licensed in 2001, Brady has closed 12 to 18 residential transactions per year, including everything from $40,000 residential lots to million dollar mansions. Though a majority of those transactions have originated in the area known as East Nashville, Brady spends a lot of time studying and working in ALL of the greater Nashville area to be prepared for those buyers who show interest in other areas of town. Some of those areas include West End, Green Hills, Belle Meade, Bellevue, Hillsboro, Belmont, Oak Hill, Forest Hills, Brentwood, Franklin, Hermitage, Mount Juliet, and Lebanon.
Graduating from Ball State University in 1997, with a Graphic Arts degree, who knew Brady would land such a successful career in real estate? As it turns out that degree, along with a minor in marketing and advertising, has proved quite useful in the marketing of his listings. In addition his career history in retail, banking and the legal field lends itself to a keen understanding of those aspects of the real estate industry as well. Since he's been in real estate, Brady has completed the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation, Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation, Advanced Digital Marketing Techniques (e-PRO) designation, Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation and Residential Collaborative Specialist-Divorce (RCS-D) certification. In 2017, Brady obtained his Tennessee Real Estate Broker's License, so he is even more qualified to service his clients at a greater capacity.
When he's not showing property or putting a for sale sign up in another home owner's yard, you might find him walking or biking on the Shelby or Stones River Greenways, meeting friends for dinner at one of East Nashville's fine dining establishments, entertaining dinner guests at his home, or soaking up some sunshine while reading a good book.
